Day trip to East Gresford, Gresford and Rutherford (pre poll vote)
Short drive over the bridge in Gresford and a short drive to bring us close to the original Lindemans Wine estate.

The drive over the suspension bridge was rather daunting. Narrow and swinging.
There 3 photos of small home on the side of the hill.
My Maternal Great Grandfather lived here with his wife and 7 children. He was employed by the Lindemans.
The home had no electricity and a drop toilet.
He walked from here into East Gresford each week. He was well into his 80's and still made the trip on foot.
He remained here until the mid 1980's living alone. Sadly died in his 103rd year.
The home appears to be extensively renovated.
The Church at the end is St Peters Anglican Bendolba where KP was christened.
